Lincoln Center Theater has announced its 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n
Off-Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, the company will present a rare revival of August Wilson\u2019s\u00a0Seven Guitars<\/a>, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson (begins November 5); the new Kimberly Belflower play\u00a0Born in the Dirt<\/a>, directed by Danya Taymor (begins April 14); and Emmy winner Matthew Rhys as Richard Burton in Mark Jenkins\u2019s play\u00a0Playing Burton<\/a>, directed by Bartlett Sher (dates to be announced).<\/p>\n Upstairs at the Claire Tow Theater, LCT3 will present Mfoniso Udofia\u2019s\u00a0Creation Stories and All the Important Importants,<\/a> directed by Tamilla Woodard (begins September 15), and Emma Watkins\u2019s Pretend It\u2019s Pretend<\/a>, directed by Annie Tippe (begins January 28).<\/p>\n In addition, Sara Bareilles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Pasek & Paul will perform one-night events at the Beaumont alongside rising songwriters; playwrights Jackie Sibblies Drury, Amy Herzog, Samuel D.
