Warriors, with a\u00a0book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda<\/a> (Hamilton<\/a>, In the Heights<\/a>)\u00a0and Eisa Davis<\/a> (Bulrusher), will begin previews at Broadway’s\u00a0Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in March
\n2027.<\/p>\n

Based on the Paramount Pictures motion picture The Warriors and the book The Warriors by Sol Yurick, the musical\u2014licensed for the stage by Paramount Products & Experiences\u2014will officially\u00a0open in April 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Directed by Jenny Koons, and co-directed and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler<\/a>, the new musical\u00a0follows a fictitious New York City gang from Coney Island to the Bronx
\nand back when they are framed for the murder of a respected gang leader,
\n Cyrus.<\/p>\n

Produced by Thomas Kail<\/a>, Miranda, Luis A. Miranda, Jr., and Jeffrey Seller<\/a>, Warriors will also feature scenic design by David Korins<\/a>, costume design by Dede Ayite<\/a>, lighting design by Natasha Katz<\/a>, sound design by Jason Crystal<\/a>, projection design by Hana S. Kim<\/a>, music supervision by Kurt Crowley<\/a>, and orchestrations by Crowley, Scott Wasserman, and Mike Elizondo.<\/p>\n

Casting, performance dates, and additional creative team members will be announced at a later time.<\/p>\n

\n such a vibrant world for the concept album has been a thrill, and now

Warriors\u00a0originated
\n as a concept album, released October 18, 2024, executive produced by Grammy-winning rapper Nas and produced
\n by Grammy-winning musician Mike Elizondo. The immersive listening
\n experience featured Ms. Lauryn Hill, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Marc Anthony<\/a>, Billy
\nPorter, Ghostface Killah, RZA, Colman Domingo<\/a>, Cam\u2019ron, Kim Dracula, and
\n more.<\/p>\n
