Tony Award-winning Best Musical Maybe Happy Ending<\/a> is set to become the longest-running show in the history of the Belasco Theatre, and the hit production is\u00a0hosting a fan event to celebrate.<\/p>\n

On July 7, Maybe Happy Ending will play its\u00a0688th performance, surpassing\u00a0the previous record of 687 performances, established by the play Dead End<\/a> in 1937. To mark the occasion on July 7, Maybe Happy Ending will host\u00a0Party Like It\u2019s 2064 Fan Event: This Is Where You Belong.<\/p>\n

That evening’s performance will include custom merchandise gifts for the entire audience, HwaBoon photo opportunities, and a post-show Q&A\u00a0and sing-a-long with the current cast.\u00a0The first 20 fans dressed in cosplay for the celebration will also receive autographed\u00a0Playbills.<\/p>\n

There will be a special digital lottery for the performance. The lottery will open to the public midnight June 24.\u00a0All available tickets will be priced $68.80 (including fees) to highlight the 688th\u00a0performance. There will be drawings July 1, July 2, and July 3 for this limited ticket offer. The lottery will be coordinated via Telecharge.<\/p>\n

The musical opened at the Belasco November 12, 2024. The work, featuring a Tony-winning book and score by Hue Park<\/a> and Will Aronson<\/a>, was the most Tony-winning show of the 2024-2025 season. The show was also one of three productions to be the most nominated of the season, with nods in 10 categories.<\/p>\n

The musical follows Oliver and Claire, South Korea-based Helperbots that have been deemed obsolete. The pair form an unlikely bond, setting off a surprising and romantic adventure. Zachary Noah Piser<\/a> (KPOP) and Hannah Kevitt<\/a> currently star, alongside\u00a0original company members Dez Duron<\/a> and Marcus Choi<\/a>.\u00a0Casting is by Telsey & Co’s Craig Burns.<\/p>\n

Two-time Tony winner Michael Arden<\/a> directs, leading a creative team that also includes scenic and additional video designer Dane Laffrey<\/a>, costume designer Clint Ramos<\/a>, lighting designer Ben Stanton<\/a>, sound designer Peter Hylenski<\/a>, video designer George Reeve<\/a>, music supervisor Deborah Abramson, and music director John Yun<\/a>.<\/p>\n
