The program will distribute 25 grants of $10,000 each to eligible nonprofit organizations creating measurable impact in the communities Resorts World serves across New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the Catskills. Applications opened on June 15, and must be submitted by June 29. Grant recipients will be announced on July 7.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative invites local nonprofits, community groups, cultural institutions, and char\u00adities to apply for support. Grants will be distributed across Resorts World\u2019s three New York properties: 15 awards totaling $150,000 through Resorts World New York City, five awards totaling $50,000 through Resorts World Hudson Valley, and five awards totaling $50,000 through Resorts World Catskills. Recipients will be selected through a random drawing among qualified applicants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we mark 250 years of our nation\u2019s history, we wanted to honor the moment in a way that reflects who we are and the neighborhoods we\u2019re part of,\u201d said Michelle Stoddart, Senior Vice President of Community Development and Public Affairs at Resorts World New York City. \u201cFrom New York City to the Hudson Valley to the Catskills, this $250,000 commitment is about investing directly in the local organizations doing the work that makes our commu\u00adnities stronger. We can\u2019t wait to see the applications come in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>How to Apply:<\/p>\n<p>Applications are open now through June 29 at the QR code below. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply early. Community members who wish to nominate a favorite non\u00adprofit can share the application directly and ask the organization to note their name in the re\u00adferral section.<\/p>\n<p>A Day of Giving is part of Resorts World\u2019s broader commitment to the communities it serves and joins commemorations taking place nationwide ahead of the United States Semi-quincentennial on July 4, 2026, which marks 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, organizations must be active IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing that operate within or primarily serve communities in New York City, the Hudson Valley, or the Catskills. Applicants must demonstrate measurable community impact and designate the Resorts World property region most closely associated with their service area.
