The footage shows Ortiz standing on the sidewalk when the gunman approaches from behind and opens fire.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">First responders rushed to the scene where the 21-year-old&#8217;s hat was left lying on the sidewalk, surrounded by crime scene tape.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Additional footage captured paramedics attempting to save Ortiz&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police say the 21-year-old was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The NYPD has not released information about what sparked the violence.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">No arrests have been made as of Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Police released the identity of a 21-year-old man who was fatally shot in the head in Belmont.
