Lea Webb.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>State Police say James Crosby, 49, of Binghamton, posted a threatening comment on Facebook in response to a news story featuring Webb at a Juneteenth event.<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, troopers found that Crosby illegally owned a rifle despite a prior felony conviction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with making a terroristic threat as a hate crime and criminal possession of a weapon.<\/p>\n<p>Webb represents New York&#8217;s 52nd state Senate District, which encompasses Cortland and Tompkins counties, as well as parts of Broome County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man has been arrested for threatening New York state Sen.
