It’s no secret that Baltimore Ravens<\/a> fans have grown accustomed to Lamar Jackson doing extraordinary things. Usually, those moments happen on football fields. This time around, he’s making the rounds on social media for doing the most basic of human activities. He grabbed lunch, and as you might expect, the cameras were rolling.<\/p>\n For those unfamiliar with the phrase “The Ocky Way”, it’s become popular through social media and refers to the over-the-top style of making a “chopped cheese sandwich the Ocky way”, which refers to a heavily customized version of the classic New York City bodega sandwich. Made famous by viral social media videos, it takes a traditional chopped cheese and adds wild ingredients like hash browns, mozzarella sticks, bacon, and spicy sauces, all folded into a toasted Jamaican beef patty instead of a regular hero roll. ]The meals are usually loaded with extra ingredients, creative combinations, and plenty of personality. In other words, they’re difficult to ignore. The same can be said about the Ravens<\/a>‘ QB1. Jackson’s version didn’t include a sandwich, but did include Doritos, French Fries, a special sauce and plenty of bacon.<\/p>\n Fame certainly hasn’t changed Lamar Jackson<\/p>\n Professional athletes often become increasingly guarded as their fame grows. That’s understandable. Constant attention can become exhausting. Jackson has largely resisted that trend, and here’s proof. A casual lunch run turned into another memorable fan interaction. For Jackson, it was simply a chance to grab a bite to eat. For the fans who crossed paths with him, it became a story they’ll likely tell for years. Whether Lamar Jackson is posing for photos, signing autographs, chatting with supporters, or simply enjoying a day in public, he often seems genuinely appreciative of the people who support him.
