{"id":277808,"date":"2026-06-25T13:53:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/277808\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T13:53:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:53:07","slug":"ethan-slater-betsy-wolfe-to-star-in-little-shop-of-horrors-off-broadway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/277808\/","title":{"rendered":"Ethan Slater, Betsy Wolfe to star in \u2018Little Shop of Horrors\u2019 off Broadway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Suddenly, Ethan and Betsy! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/stars-on-stage\/ethan-slater\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ethan Slater<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/stars-on-stage\/betsy-wolfe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Betsy Wolfe<\/a> will be the next stars of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/show\/24608-little-shop-of-horrors-tickets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Little Shop of Horrors<\/a> off Broadway at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/venues\/westside-theatre\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Westside Theatre<\/a> starting July 21.<\/p>\n<p>Slater, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/show\/1-wicked-musical-tickets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wicked<\/a> film star and Tony nominee for playing the title role in the SpongeBob SquarePants Broadway musical, returns to the Off-Broadway stage after leading his own play Marcel on the Train earlier this year. Wolfe, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/show\/25598-and-juliet-tickets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&amp; Juliet<\/a> Tony nominee, just wrapped her run in Death Becomes Her on Broadway at the end of June.<\/p>\n<p>They will succeed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/stars-on-stage\/jordan-fisher\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Fisher<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorktheatreguide.com\/stars-on-stage\/nikki-m-james\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nikki M. James<\/a> in the roles of Seymour and Audrey. Fisher and James play their final performances on July 19.<\/p>\n<p>Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy musical about Seymour, a shy flower shop employee who makes a dark deal with a bloodthirsty plant for fame, fortune, and the love of his coworker Audrey.
