Someone bumps into you on the subway \u2014 what do you do? You give them the finger, start a war. No \u2014 I\u2019m just kidding. You just go about your business.<\/p>\n

Your cab driver is taking you on a horrible route. Do you interrupt? Absolutely. I\u2019m like, \u201cSir, there\u2019s a better way. I\u2019m happy to hop on Google Maps for you.\u201d I\u2019m very a vocal backseat driver.<\/p>\n

How often do you take public transportation to the airport? It\u2019s been a minute. Back in the day, when I was a broke-ass entrepreneur, I took the subway \u2014 you gotta take the bus to La Guardia. I don\u2019t miss those days.<\/p>\n

Someone tries to hand you a flyer on the street \u2014 what do you do? Sometimes I\u2019ll look at the flyer. I feel for those people \u2014 that\u2019s a hustle.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a blinking red light and you\u2019re about to cross \u2014 do you wait it out till it says walk, or are you crossing? I just look both ways. Doesn\u2019t matter what the light\u2019s doing.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s something a tourist does that you secretly still do? I love the museums. I\u2019d do Ellis Island again. Actually, I\u2019ve yet to do Statue of Liberty. I don\u2019t know how.<\/p>\n

Would you rather transfer trains or walk farther? I don\u2019t mind a transfer, especially if it\u2019s hot or cold out. I\u2019ll probably wait it out.<\/p>\n

Someone says the rats are actually cute \u2014 what\u2019s your honest response? The rats are just part of New York City. You just gotta accept them.<\/p>\n

Someone you want to impress asks for restaurant advice \u2014 what neighborhood do you send them to for the best Chinese food? I\u2019d actually tell them to go to Chinese Tuxedo.<\/p>\n

Have you ever actually been to Staten Island? Yes \u2014 actually, I did Hurricane Sandy cleanup there. That was the first time I\u2019d ever been.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your area code? 917.<\/p>\n

Do you think they still matter? Absolutely.<\/p>\n

Do you feel prideful of yours? Yeah, people think it\u2019s cool. I used to really want a 212.<\/p>\n

Bedbugs or roaches? Probably a cockroach, because I can just kill them.<\/p>\n

Roaches or rats? Probably a cockroach. Rats are like a roommate.<\/p>\n

Do you call Manhattan \u201cthe city\u201d or just Manhattan? Our new show is In the City \u2014 I think that\u2019s what people say.<\/p>\n

How do you get out East? I have a car. The traffic\u2019s kind of brutal, but I like having the independence of my own car.<\/p>\n

Have you ever taken the Blade? Yes, taken a Blade. But once you get there, you\u2019re beholden to Ubers and all that stuff.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your go-to public bathroom? There\u2019s actually public bathrooms in Union Square that aren\u2019t too bad.<\/p>\n

What about NYC still makes no sense to you? How the heck is rent almost just as expensive in Brooklyn? I don\u2019t quite understand the advantage.<\/p>\n

Would you move to Brooklyn? No. I don\u2019t get the allure.<\/p>\n

You know you\u2019re a New Yorker when \u2026 The first time it\u2019s over 50 degrees and you just want to rage all day.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s a place that closed that you wish you could bring back? Tenjune.<\/p>\n

Last time you ate a hot dog from a hot-dog stand? No joke \u2014 like a month ago, at three in the morning.<\/p>\n

Last time you hailed a yellow cab? Pretty recently. I feel like Uber\u2019s really ruined this city \u2014 I just spent $70 to cross town last night. Absurd.<\/p>\n

What percent did you tip your last Uber driver? Look, it\u2019s not like they\u2019re waiting on me. I tend to be in the teens.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the most you\u2019ve ever paid for a coffee in New York City? Probably like nine or ten bucks.<\/p>\n

How many times have you moved in New York City? Financial District, Flatiron, Nolita, back to Fidi \u2014 so four times.<\/p>\n

Which was the worst move? My very first move, in \u201907. I was driving a U-Haul down the FDR, missed the low-clearance signs, and suddenly realized I was about to go under an overpass that was too low. The cops had to escort me off an on-ramp.<\/p>\n
