Travis led New York State Police on a four-minute pursuit through the City of Kingston on June 21, sideswiping another car before he was caught with Adderall and Percocet, troopers said.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers from the Kingston Barracks spotted a 2019 Kia traveling on Washington Avenue around 9:53 p.m. in violation of multiple traffic laws. When troopers tried to stop the car, the driver kept going. The Kia headed northwest on Washington Avenue and sideswiped a 2011 Ford before fleeing the scene, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, identified as Travis, 32, of Brooklyn, stopped the Kia on Colonial Drive and ran on foot. Troopers caught him a short distance away. A search of the car turned up about 14.2 grams of Adderall and 4.36 grams of Percocet, police said. Travis also had two outstanding warrants, one from the Ulster County Sheriff\u2019s Office and one from New York State Parole for a parole violation. He was charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, along with seventh degree criminal possession, unlawful fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest and several traffic tickets. He was arraigned in Kingston City Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail to await his next court date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Quavon V.
