Initial casting has been revealed for the\u00a0New York Stage and Film Festival Summer 2026 season, running July 10-August 2\u00a0at\u00a0Marist University and The Bardavon\u00a0in\u00a0Poughkeepsie, NY.<\/p>\n
This year’s Festival will include performances by\u00a0Barzin Akhavan<\/a>, Aaron Alcaraz<\/a>, Jahmaul Abiodun Bakare, Nicholas Byers, Eddie Cahill, Chris Chalk<\/a>, Ka-Ling Cheung<\/a>, Kelley Curran<\/a>, Jasmine Aiyana Garvin, Lawrence Gilliard Jr.,Marcus Gladney Jr., Douglas Goodhart, Alex Humphreys<\/a>, Josh Hoon Lee, Jose Llana<\/a>, Tony Macht<\/a>, Amanda Morrow, Liam Oh, dael orlandersmith, Diane Phelan<\/a>, Sam Poon<\/a>, Geena Quintos<\/a>, Reg Rogers<\/a>, Roslyn Ruff<\/a>, James Saito<\/a>, Daniel Saunders, David Ryan Smith<\/a>, Fina Strazza<\/a>, Alyssa Sunew, John Douglas Thompson<\/a>, Chris Thorn<\/a>, Jes\u00fas I. Valles’s\u00a0bala.fruta.\/bullet.fruit., C.A. Johnson’s Lagniappe,\u00a0Betty Shamieh’s\u00a0Unmoored,\u00a0Lloyd Suh and Thao Nguyen’s musical adaption of Ken Liu’s short story\u00a0Paper Menagerie,\u00a0Kate Cortesi’s\u00a0Daylight,\u00a0Quiara Alegr\u00eda Hudes<\/a>‘s\u00a0Menafee,\u00a0Jake Brasch<\/a>‘s\u00a0Trip\u00a0Around the Sun,\u00a0dael orlandersmith’s\u00a0The Death Chronicles (portraits),\u00a0and\u00a0Andrew Lloyd Webber<\/a>‘s\u00a0Whistle Down the Wind.<\/p>\n In addition to the creative teams with public-facing projects, the 2026 Summer Season will host a range of artists-in-residence including individual artists and groups such as the Indigenous Voices of the Northeast and The Drama League.\u00a0<\/p>\n This season will also celebrate the Filmmakers\u2019 Workshop and recipients of the Founders\u2019 Award, Pfaelzer Award, and the Dasha Epstein Award; all to be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n
