Corey Sipkin for the NY Post<\/p>\n<p>Luis Robert Jr. is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Syracuse.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran outfielder has been on the injured list since April 27 with a lumbar disc spine herniation.<\/p>\n<p>Tobias Myers was optioned to Syracuse and Joey Gerber recalled to give the Mets a fresh arm in the bullpen.
