With Joe Burrow healthy, would the Cincinnati Bengals consider trading Joe Flacco? They’ve got another veteran backup on the roster is 40-year-old Josh Johnson. Flacco played for the Jets for three seasons (2020-22) and would be an upgrade behind Smith.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"June 30, 2026, 1:53 p.m. ET The New York Jets entered the 2026 NFL offseason with the intention…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":169475,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[679,9,11,10,88438,1673,1674,948,108322,108321,88793,12176,64782,11668,6388,108323,12219,108324,950,1675,932,947,691,938,16951,949,64229,20868,69429,682],"class_list":["post-282572","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-york","tag-accessfree","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-headlines","tag-new-york-news","tag-sourcejets-wire","tag-sstssportsnfljets","tag-sstsnjets","tag-tagamerican-football","tag-tagandy-dalton","tag-tagandy-dalton-football","tag-tagbailey-zappe","tag-tagcincinnati-bengals","tag-taggeno-smith","tag-tagjalen-hurts","tag-tagjarvis-brownlee","tag-tagjoe-burrow","tag-tagjoe-flacco","tag-tagjosh-johnson","tag-tagnational-sports","tag-tagnew-york-jets","tag-tagnfl","tag-tagnfl-hub","tag-tagoverall-neutral","tag-tagphiladelphia-eagles","tag-tagrussell-wilson","tag-tagsports-news","tag-tagtvondre-sweat","tag-tagtennessee-titans","tag-tagwill-levis","tag-typestory"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/282572","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=282572"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/282572\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/169475"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=282572"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=282572"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=282572"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
