Emmy-winning actor and comedian Jeff Hiller<\/a>\u00a0(Somebody Somewhere, Bloody Bloody\u00a0Andrew Jackson) will host the 2026 Fire Island Dance Festival, set for\u00a0July 18 at 5 and 7 PM and July 19 at 5 PM in\u00a0Fire Island Pines in\u00a0Fire Island, New York.<\/p>\n

Produced by and benefiting Dancers Responding to AIDS, a\u00a0program of Broadway Cares, the annual Festival\u00a0celebrates dance while raising funds for lifesaving programs around the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Fire Island Dance Festival is
\n a magical summer tradition I’ve admired since I first attended years
\nago to watch a friend perform,” Hiller said in a statement. “Getting to be part of it
\nis truly a thrill for me. It brings together impeccable artists, an
\nextraordinary community and an organization that literally changes
\nlives. I originally assumed I was being invited to dance in the
\nfestival, but I’ll happily settle for hosting. Though if anyone needs an
\n emergency grande jet\u00e9, I’ve got legs for days.”<\/p>\n

Attendees can expect to enjoy\u00a0Complexions Contemporary Ballet sharing
\n the contemporary duet \u201cFirst Comes Love”;\u00a0Tony nominee\u00a0Robbie Fairchild (An American in Paris<\/a>) previewing his new pas de deux with Vincenzo DiPrimo;\u00a0Chris Jarosz<\/a> (Wicked<\/a>) opening the festival with a world premiere brought to life by Broadway dancers;\u00a0Leggybones Physical Theater performing
\n an athletic contemporary work;\u00a0Miami City Ballet presenting an excerpt from Roses from the South: Three Waltzes for Toby, a work by Alexei Ratmansky;\u00a0New Chamber Ballet presenting the elegant and intimate Mandragore;\u00a0Smuin Ballet delivering an excerpt from The Singer and the Song, which marries classical ballet technique with other dance forms;\u00a0Ricky\u00a0Ubeda (Illinoise<\/a>) sharing a world premiere; and\u00a0Jake Vincent, previously of Paul Taylor Dance
\n Company, bringing another world premiere group work.<\/p>\n

Since its debut in 1995, Fire Island Dance Festival has
\n raised more than $10 million to help provide lifesaving medication,
\nnutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance to those
\n in need in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n
