Some 22 Queens<\/a> gang members indicted were allegedly responsible for 11 shootings, a stabbing, and other attacks across the southeast section of the borough, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz<\/a> said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The bloodshed spanned from 2023 right up to this year and saw teens open fire in broad daylight. Out of the nearly two dozen people named in the 97-count indictment, 15 of them were charged for pulling triggers.<\/p>\n

\u201cEight of the 22 defendants were apprehended on Thursday, June 25 by our partners in the New York City Police Department,\u201d Katz said. \u201cNine of the defendants were already incarcerated on other matters. Eleven of the defendants were arraigned and remanded, while six received high amounts of bail. Three remain at large.\u201d<\/p>\n

These are all reported members of the Blitz Gang 4 gang, which beefed up with rivals the Floss Money Ballers gang, many of whom were also cuffed during a separate takedown last year.<\/p>\n

Blitz Gang 4, a subset of the Bloods, were based out of the Baisley Park Houses in South Jamaica but would travel to rival territory to commit their attacks. On Dec. 11, 2025, one such incident took place near the Queens courthouse, where the District Attorney\u2019s office is based.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, the incident unfolded around 12:15 p.m. that day, when four people stabbed a member of the Floss Money Ballers after he had appeared in court. The brutal gang assault left the victim severely injured.<\/p>\n

In another brazen daylight attack, a 15-year-old was ordered by an older gang member to open fire on a street. This took place on March 30, 2026, at around 3:38 p.m. outside of a Cambria Heights McDonald\u2019s. The teen was told to shoot a man suspected of being a 5th Clocc gang member.<\/p>\n

In that same incident, another member of the gang attempted to point police away from the scene of the crime so he could snatch up the bullet casings.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIn total, these 17 incidents left three people wounded, including one man, who is now paralyzed. It is a sheer miracle that there were not additional injuries or fatalities in between these shootings. We recovered multiple weapons, including a ghost gun as a result of a search warrant and a car stop,\u201d Katz added.<\/p>\n

The violence exploded in September 2024 after 18-year-old Akim Cisse was shot to death by Rayvon Philip, a reputed BG4 member, outside a Springfield Gardens McDonald\u2019s.\n<\/p>\n

According to the indictment, those charged each face a maximum sentence of 8 to 25 years in prison, based on their role and youthful offender status.\n<\/p>\n

DA Katz stated that the takedown was part of a coordinated effort to keep the streets safe over the summer months.\n<\/p>\n
