A Queens deli worker was stabbed repeatedly when he tried to stop a trio from stealing two cases of Modelo beer last week, cops and sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The worker, 42, noticed the three alleged booze thieves fleeing from El Patroncito Deli Grocery on 108th Street near 41st Street in Corona around 2:20 a.m. June 21 and chased after them, according to police and law enforcement sources.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But instead of giving up, the thieves knifed the worker multiple times in the back and took off with the popular Mexican beer brand, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"AA 42-year-old Queens deli worker was stabbed repeatedly while attempting to stop three alleged booze thieves fleeing from El Patroncito Deli Grocery, according to police and law enforcement sources.\u00a0 NYPD<\/p>\n

The employee went to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The NYPD released photos of the still-at-large perps decked out in Jordan, GAP and Adidas attire.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One is shown with his hood pulled up and the other is wearing sunglasses during the pre-dawn mayhem.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).\u00a0<\/p>\n
