(WBNG) &#8212; A Seneca Falls man was arrested after a physical altercation in Marathon on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to New York State Police, on July 1, troopers were dispatched to a residence on West Main Street for a report of a domestic incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An investigation revealed that a verbal argument had escalated and become physical, at which point Zacjaroa W. McCutcheon, 35, allegedly struck and kicked two people and choked one victim at the residence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">McCutcheon complained of pain and was transported by ambulance to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for an evaluation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">En route to the hospital, police say McCutcheon became combative and kicked a trooper in the face. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">City of Cortland Police assisted on the scene once they arrived at the hospital. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After being released from the hospital, McCutcheon was charged with two counts of assault in the third degree and criminal obstruction of breathing. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was then processed and turned over to the Cortland County Jail for arraignment. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WBNG.
