{"id":28817,"date":"2025-11-04T23:00:30","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T23:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/28817\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T23:00:30","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T23:00:30","slug":"man-slashed-in-neck-critically-hurt-during-argument-over-queens-parking-spot-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/28817\/","title":{"rendered":"Man slashed in neck, critically hurt, during argument over Queens parking spot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A man was slashed in the neck, leaving him in critical condition, during an argument over a parking space in Queens, <a href=\"https:\/\/compstat.nypdonline.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:police;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">police<\/a> said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The 26-year-old victim was parking his vehicle outside CTown Supermarket near 123rd St. and Liberty Ave. in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityneighborhoods.nyc\/south-richmond-hill\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:South Richmond Hill;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">South Richmond Hill<\/a> when the confrontation sparked off about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, cops said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The driver of a double-parked GMC Terrain pulled up behind the victim, got out of the SUV and yelled \u201cWhat the f\u2014 are you doing? Move your f\u2014ing car!\u201d, police sources said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As the clash escalated, the SUV driver pulled out a weapon and slashed the victim in the neck, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The victim got to <a href=\"https:\/\/jamaicahospital.org\/?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=organic&amp;utm_campaign=gmb_listing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Jamaica Hospital;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Jamaica Hospital<\/a> by private means and was in critical but stable condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cRecovery is going quite slow so far,\u201d the victim told the Daily News by phone Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The attacker got back into his SUV and drove off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Tuesday, the NYPD released photos of the suspect as he argued with the victim and asked the public\u2019s help identifying him and tracking him down.
