On May 13, 2026, Brooklyn Park police began their investigation after receiving the victim report. The first victim disclosed that the abuse had been ongoing for years. During a forensic interview on May 21, 2026, the second victim confirmed that the first victim had told her about the assaults and stated that she had also been sexually assaulted by Coria.
