They also saw a man, now identified as Vance Boelter, at the front of the Hortmans\u2019 home dressed as a police officer.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say Baumtrog fired his gun while on the scene in response to gunshots.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/kstp.com\/?p=3692189\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Officer who shot at Vance Boelter outside Hortman home identified<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Baumtrog and Bloyer then saw that Mark Hortman was injured and pulled him from the doorway of the home.
