The New York Fire Department said it received a call shortly before 8 a.m. about falling bricks from the 38-story tower at 235 East 42nd Street, in the heart of Manhattan. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur top priority right now is the safety of the residents in the area and the safety of the people who work here,\u201d New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani said.<\/p>\n<p>The building is located near Grand Central Terminal, the world\u2019s largest train station by number of platforms.
