Volunteers have been organizing emergency aid for the struggling country, where hospitals and emergency services remain overwhelmed after years of economic and political turmoil.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Zohran Mamdani visited on Monday to join Venezuelan New Yorkers, other officials and community members packing food, medicine and other critical supplies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn moments like this, it is ordinary people who show us what solidarity looks like. That is exactly what is happening at Lulla\u2019s.
