Restaurant group expands into Manhattan with full-service restaurant and grab-and-go concept.<\/p>\n
The Granola Bar, a Connecticut-based restaurant chain, will open two locations in Midtown Manhattan on July 9, marking its return to New York City.<\/p>\n
The company is opening a 2,500-square-foot full-service restaurant at 330 Madison Ave., near Grand Central Terminal, along with a 1,000-square-foot grab-and-go concept, The Granola Bar Takeaway, at 22 E. 43rd St.<\/p>\n
The flagship restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service, while the takeaway location will focus on coffee, prepared foods, sandwiches, salads and other grab-and-go items. Both locations will also sell the company’s packaged granola and granola bars.<\/p>\n
Founded by Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily, The Granola Bar operates 10 locations across Connecticut, Westchester County, Long Island and New York City, including the two new Manhattan locations.<\/p>\n
