Jam Press\/@iedehoornuitvaartzorg<\/p>\n<p>The blonde-haired dancer performed spins and inversions to the theatrical anthem above coffins and photos of the husband-and-wife club owners \u2014 shocking mourners who had no idea it would happen.<\/p>\n<p>The nightclub boss had actually died in 1993, but his family had a joint ceremony when his wife recently died. <\/p>\n<p>The funeral director, Lede Hoorn, said he always wants to make services \u201cmemorable\u201d \u2014 but even he was surprised at the racy request by the late couple\u2019s children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I gently asked whether something of the parents\u2019 life\u2019s work might be reflected in the funeral, they hesitated,\u201d the director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtl.nl\/nieuws\/binnenland\/artikel\/5625934\/iede-uitvaart-paaldansers-bejaarde-vrouw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told RTL<\/a> Thursday of the wild event, which actually happened last year but only went viral when he shared footage this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut a few days later, I got a call \u2013 they\u2019d decided to hire a pole dancer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always try to find a personal detail to make a funeral memorable,\u201d he said \u2014 saying that he \u201c\u2018cannot imagine that it will ever be surpassed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.86914063;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39943683\" width=\"513\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1993-cremated-wife-scattered-together-133963217.jpg\" alt=\"A pole dancer performs at a funeral for an exhumed nightclub boss.\" class=\"wp-image-39943683\"  \/>The dancer writhed on the pole.
