Jay-Z recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.okayplayer.com\/ja-z-channels-his-inner-marlo-stanfield-at-the-2026-roots-picnic\/1431525\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">referred to<\/a> the character during a freestyle at the Roots Picnic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text  svelte-i5c8kc\">\u201cI respect the fact that artists find time to appreciate another artist in that way,\u201d Mr. Hector said. \u201cI consider the work that we do at the highest level with great art. His is literary. His is over a track, making you feel, and mine was visual.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text  svelte-i5c8kc\">Mr. Hector, 50, also a director, producer and children\u2019s book author, has devoted much of his life to the arts as one of television\u2019s most compelling, understated figures, currently seen in Apple TV\u2019s \u201cCape Fear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text  svelte-i5c8kc\">He splits his time between his family, dramatic roles, his own projects and shepherding the next generation of artists.
