The seller of the nearly 45-foot-wide home was French businessman Pierre Bastid and his wife, Malou Beauvoir, a jazz singer. The couple purchased the property \u2014 two adjacent homes \u2014 in separate deals in 2011 and 2018 for a total of $24.5 million. It measures 19,600 square feet and has five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, plus an elevator, terrace and lap pool. The buyer was MI 8787 LLC. Compass\u2019 Jim St. Andre, Trevor Stephens and Michael Maniawski had the listing.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfc6Commercial: The priciest commercial deal to hit records was in the Bronx. The Roman Catholic Church sold a vacant plot of land at 484 East 178th Street for $17 million. The buyer was the Association of New York Catholic Homes, an affordable housing developer tied to the Archdiocese of New York. The lot spans about 0.9 acres.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: The estate of attorney Robert Rifkind shed a co-op at 820 Park Avenue in Lenox Hill for $9.7 million. The buyers were Mark Vassallo and Maria Garzon. The full-floor unit has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. It last sold in 2012, for $8.3 million, and went on the market in January for just under $10 million.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: In Greenwich Village, a condo at 173 MacDougal Street changed hands for $13.4 million. The seller was Dr. Barbara Catherine Deli, and the buyer was a trust tied to attorney Paul Carlotto. The unit spans about 4,600 square feet, pricing the sale at roughly $2,900 per square foot. It has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The residence hit the market in March with an asking price of $12.9 million.
