Forty-one years ago today, one of the biggest bands in rock walked onto a stadium stage for just 21 minutes and, according to critics and fellow musicians, delivered the greatest live performance the genre has ever seen.<\/p>\n
On July 13, 1985, Queen took the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of Live Aid, the dual-continent benefit concert that raised more than $100 million for famine relief in Africa. Nearly two billion people watched.
