{"id":294606,"date":"2026-07-13T17:36:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T17:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/294606\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T17:36:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T17:36:28","slug":"news-12-bronx-city-launches-new-digital-initiative-to-solve-public-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/294606\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | City Launches New Digital Initiative To Solve Public Problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The Mayor\u2019s Office launched a new digital initiative to solve New Yorkers\u2019 problems in a speedy way .<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The initiative is called the \u201cPublic Interest Technology (PIT) Crew.\u201d The crew is a team comprised of product managers, designers, engineers, researchers and data experts, who will work with city agencies to solve public problems with in-house digital solutions.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The first PIT Crew is teaming up with Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) to create an online portal that allows New Yorkers to file complaints against companies with hard-to cancel and expensive subscriptions.
