Itsaragrisil, a Thai businessman tasked with overseeing the pageant in his home country, confronted the elegantly dressed participants during the annual sash ceremony on Tuesday, questioning why some didn\u2019t take part in a sponsorship shoot.<\/p>\n

Miss Universe Thailand live-streamed the pre-event conference on Facebook,<\/a> capturing the shocking beratement.<\/p>\n Instead of welcoming the beauty queens and explaining the event, the angered businessman called out Bosch and accused the contestants of not following the rules.<\/p>\n Itsaragrisil then directly accused Bosch, asking her to stand and explain her absence.<\/p>\n \u201cMexico, where are you? Miss Universe Thailand<\/p>\n The tense exchange lasted for four minutes before Itsaragrisil called Bosch a \u201cdummy,\u201d sparking fury from the women.<\/p>\n \u201cI still keep talking to everybody, why you still stand up to talk to me,\u201d Itsaragrisil questioned Bosch <\/p>\n \u201cBecause I have a voice,\u201d she said. \u201cYou are not respecting me as a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n Itsaragrisil, unable to quiet his opposer, called for security to take him out of the room as the rest of the contestants bemoaned the decision.<\/p>\n \u201cAs women, you need to show respect for us. I\u2019m here representing a country and it\u2019s not my fault that you have problems with me organization,\u201d Bosch exclaimed as she walked out of the room.<\/p>\n Over a dozen other participants \u2014 including the current Miss Universe Victoria Kj\u00e6r Theilvig \u2014 stood up and walked out of the room in a show of solidarity with Bosch.<\/p>\n \u201cSit down. If anyone wants to continue the contest sit down,\u201d Itsaragrisil said in a veiled threat.<\/p>\n
