Two of the original West End Queens will make their Broadway debuts as they join the cast of\u00a0Six\u00a0on Broadway.<\/p>\n
Toby Marlow<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Lucy Moss<\/a>\u2019s Tony Award-winning musical is a reimagining of the six wives of Henry VIII, directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The piece presents their stories through a modern lens, blending history and pop music.<\/p>\n The show continues its reign at the Vaudeville Theatre in London\u2019s West End, as well as playing in New York and internationally in Spain, China, Germany and Luxembourg, while also touring the UK and the US.<\/p>\n Nominated for Olivier Awards for originating the roles of Jane Seymour and Katherine Howard, Natalie Paris<\/a> and Aimie Atkinson<\/a> will reprise their roles at the Lena Horne Theatre.<\/p>\n The two were part of the original London cast and feature on the studio cast record. Last year, they took part in the record-breaking cinematic release, which reunited all of the original Queens<\/a>. They also perform together in pop group SVN and have played concerts around the world.<\/p>\n Paris and Atkinson, who is currently starring in the West End premiere of\u00a0<\/a>Beetlejuice<\/a>,\u00a0will begin their Broadway stint on 17 August. Atkinson will play her final performance in Six at the matinee of 31 October, while Paris departs on 13 December.<\/p>\n They join\u00a0Khaila Wilcoxon\u00a0and\u00a0Olivia Donalson, who continue in their respective roles as Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves. Further cast for the period is to be confirmed.<\/p>\n Six\u00a0on Broadway is produced by Kenny Wax,\u00a0Wendy and Andy Barnes,\u00a0George Stiles, and\u00a0Kevin McCollum, co-directed by\u00a0Moss\u00a0and\u00a0Jamie Armitage\u00a0and features choreography by\u00a0Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The design team includes\u00a0Emma Bailey (scenic design), Gabriella Slade (costume design), Tim Deiling (liighting design), and Paul Gatehouse (sound design).
