Katie Holmes<\/a> was spotted out and about with a new guy in New York.<\/p>\n

According to photos obtained by People<\/a>, Holmes, 47, was spotted on an outing with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky on Friday, July 10. The pair held hands while attending a screening of The Invite hosted by The Cinema Society at the East Hampton Regal UA.<\/p>\n

Yarmosky, 38, is a New York-based artist who specializes in paintings and drawings. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010, per his website<\/a>. His work typically centers on themes of aging, time and memory and has been put on display in museums across the United States, including the Brooklyn Museum of Art.<\/p>\n

Holmes and Yarmosky\u2019s outing comes nearly one month after the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the actress\u2019 new romantic comedy Happy Hours, with Joshua Jackson. Holmes and Jackson, also 47, are best known for starring on The WB\u2019s Dawson\u2019s Creek together, where they played love interests Joey Potter and Pacey Witter, respectively. The duo briefly dated while acting on the \u201890s teen drama before their characters got together on screen. Despite calling it quits after one year together, the exes have remained close friends<\/a>.<\/p>\n
