Will Queen ever tour again?<\/p>\n

While the tragic death of Freddie Mercury<\/a> in 1991 put an end to his era of Queen<\/a>, the band survived his passing to continue to play their massive hits on several tours.<\/p>\n

In 2005 they joined forces with Paul Rodgers for 64 shows across the globe, and they followed it up with the Rock the Cosmos Tour a few years later.<\/p>\n

After they parted ways with Rodgers, they partnered with Adam Lambert<\/a> for a decade of shows as Queen + Adam Lambert, but their last concerts<\/a> took place over two years ago.<\/p>\n

Drummer Roger Taylor<\/a> is going out on a solo tour<\/a> this year in support of new album Violence Insane in a Beautiful World, but there aren’t any Queen<\/a> dates in the pipeline.<\/p>\n

There’s been speculation about a return to the road for Queen<\/a>, and Taylor has now answered the question on whether they’re planning any live shows.<\/p>\n

“Well, it is a big machine to gear up, if you know what I mean,” Taylor told the BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I think it’s more down to Brian than me. I love playing live. I enjoy it, always have.<\/p>\n

“So if we both wanna do it, I’d be happy to. But we’ll see. Never say never.”<\/p>\n

Queen’s last live show was the closing date of the Rhapsody Tour, which took place on Valentine’s Day at the Tokyo Dome in 2024. <\/p>\n
