A 29-year-old man has died following a fatal shooting in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx, police said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
An NYPD spokesperson said that on Thursday, July 16, at around 4.26 a.m. police from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an assault in front of 2362 Jerome Avenue.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cUpon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head,\u201d the spokesperson said. \u201cEMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police said the identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.<\/p>\n
