NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with an armed carjacking outside a Brooklyn business last month.<\/p>\n
According to the NYPD, the incident happened Monday, June 22, at approximately 2:50 p.m. inside CARSTAR Brooklyn Auto Solutions in the Canarsie neighborhood.<\/p>\n
Investigators say a 60-year-old man was inside the business when two unidentified people came up to him and pointed a gun, demanding he exit his vehicle. The suspects then fled in the victim’s car, heading eastbound on Glenwood Road, police said.<\/p>\n
The victim was not injured. The stolen vehicle was later recovered near East 105th Street and Avenue J.<\/p>\n
The first suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion and slim build, with short dreadlocks, and was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts. The second suspect has a medium complexion and slim build, with an afro hairstyle, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and grey shorts.<\/p>\n
The NYPD has released images of both individuals on Thursday in hopes that the public can help identify them.<\/p>\n
