The bargaining unit covers 24 production workers at the venue, which opened in 2009 and hosts up to 1,000 guests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local 4 began outreach to the crew around 2022. After a supermajority of workers signed authorization cards, Local 4 requested voluntary recognition from the employer. Following an extension and no response, Local 4 filed an RC petition with NLRB Region 29 and won the subsequent election.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis victory shows once again that when workers come together to improve their conditions, anything is possible,\u201d says Joseph Juntunen, Special Representative, IATSE. \u201cLocal 4 and the IA stand ready to assist and represent stagehands and workers throughout the entertainment ecosystem to build a stronger future for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cUnion representation for me means I have support and protection as a working-class person.
