The lineup has been revealed for The Tank’s fall 2026 season, which will begin this September.\u00a0The Off-Broadway company will stage four new plays with world premiere and New York premiere productions.<\/p>\n

The season will kick off with Daphne Silbiger’s\u00a0Very Blue Light,\u00a0running September 10-October 4. Emily Moler will direct the play following two women reuniting with their childhood best friend in Marfa,\u00a0Texas, only to discover that he aligns politically with his bosses in big tech.<\/p>\n

Next, Eric Holmes’\u00a0Falls for Jodie\u00a0will be staged September 24-October 18. In it, John checks into a New Haven Hotel and finds an ally in the night concierge, Eddie, as the pair realize they are both hopelessly in love with two Yale students who barely know they exist\u2014but audiences will soon discover that John is one of America’s most infamous figures:\u00a0John Hinckley Jr., just months before his\u00a0attempt to assassinate Ronald Reagan. Terrence Mosley will direct.<\/p>\n

Laura Zlatos’\u00a0Show Trial\u00a0will make its world premiere October 15 with support from\u00a0Mateo King West. Directed by Tom Costello<\/a>, it will run through\u00a0November 8. The play turns state propaganda into farce, with choreographed confessions, scripted testimony, and a healthy disregard for family, all built from the real transcripts of the\u00a01950 trial of Milada Hor\u00e1kov\u00e1, the Czechoslovak dissident accused of treason by a regime that had already written the verdict.<\/p>\n

A New Georges\u2013supported Production,\u00a0Legerdemain,\u00a0will make its world premiere October 29, running through November 22. Julie Kramer will direct Lynn Rosen’s play following Devin, a jaded writer and waitress at Butterloafs, a chain restaurant in New England. As Halloween approaches and a strangler is on the loose, Devin gets to know Don Franz, her most devoted customer\u2014grief is shared, and a story’s resurrection changes lives in the blink of an eye.\u00a0<\/p>\n
