Video exclusively shot by The Post shows the apparently strung-out man wearing nothing but his birthday suit and a blank look on his face along West 42nd Street in The Crossroads of the World.<\/p>\n
The nude excursion was even too much for the Naked Cowboy, an iconic Times Square street performer who \u2014 despite his moniker \u2014 wears shame-shielding skivvies in addition to his cowboy hat and guitar get-up.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot a good idea,\u201d he said, explaining he learned about his unclothed unwitting competitor from a passerby.<\/p>\n

The zonked-out nudist \u2013 who sported a tan line indicating he once wore since-misplaced shorts \u2013 ambled barefoot down a pedestrian plaza before sauntering in a circle back toward 42nd Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At one point, the unclad tramp squeezed himself \u2013 and his pearly white butt cheeks \u2013 between two shocked pedestrians.<\/p>\n
Two Post journalists who spotted the denuded drifter told a cop about the balls-of-steel flaunting of societal norms through the most heavily trafficked part of New York City.<\/p>\n
An NYPD spokesperson said the department didn\u2019t yet have information on any arrest Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
One Times Square visitor speculated the man had chemical inspiration for his trip: \u201cDon\u2019t do drugs.\u201d Kate Sheehy \/ NY Post<\/p>\n
Times Square visitors and peddlers were universally amused and bemused over the naked-but-not-afraid escapade.<\/p>\n

Brock, 21, who sat with a friend on a Times Square bench, reacted with pure disbelief after learning about the stripped-bare sojourner.<\/p>\n
\u201cNah, you talking about the dude playing the guitar?\u201d he said, before having to be told it was another libertine. \u201cI ain\u2019t seen that. I\u2019m glad I didn\u2019t see that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ty, a 31-year-old enjoying the weather outside an American Eagle store, speculated the man had some chemical inspiration to go au naturel in the 85-degree heat.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s too hot to be walking around butterball naked in the middle of the summertime,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cDamn. Drugs. Don\u2019t do drugs. And if you do do them, be responsible.\u201d<\/p>\n
