Savannah Guthrie<\/a> booked the first ticket out of New York City after an intruding incident at the Today show.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, July 16, an intruder bypassed security at NBC Studios and lunged at Craig Melvin<\/a> while also allegedly yelling the N-word.<\/p>\n

Just a day after, Savannah was spotted at LaGuardia Airport leaving town with her husband Michael Feldman<\/a>. Keeping a low profile, she arrived at the airport wearing a beige Celine bucket hat, a black sweater and a pair of jeans.<\/p>\n

A source told the Daily Mail<\/a> Savannah found the security breach “incredibly triggering.<\/p>\n

“Even though she had just left, just knowing it happened at her workplace is enough to shake anyone,” the source mentioned. “It hit everyone hard, but it hit differently for her.”<\/p>\n

“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for her emotionally after everything she’s been through this year. How much more can one person take?” the source added.<\/p>\n

Savannah has been through a lot over the past few months with the ongoing disappearance case of her 84-year-old mother Nancy<\/a>, who went missing from her home just north of Tucson, Arizona, on February 1.<\/p>\n

The host and the rest of her family first learned Nancy was missing after she failed to attend her local mass. Shortly after that, the Pima County Sheriff’s office deemed her home a “crime scene” after discovering concerning evidence inside the property.<\/p>\n

A few weeks after the incident, the FBI released footage from Nancy’s Google Nest camera showing a potential masked subject approaching her front door. Despite finding a visual of the potential subject, the authorities have yet to name a suspect or find Nancy.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the case remains open with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI fielding over 40,000 to 50,000 potential leads and tips since then.<\/p>\n

Savannah remains persistent in her search for her mother, with her family even offering a reward of up to $1 million for information on Nancy’s whereabouts.<\/p>\n
