The city\u2019s detectives union put the Civilian Complaint Review Board on blast this week, displaying the names and photos of six \u201canti-cop activists\u201d at the agency on a truck parked outside the group\u2019s NYC headquarters. <\/p>\n
The six CCRB investigators at the purportedly unbiased agency previously made negative statements about cops on social media and in other past writings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe parked this billboard outside the CCRB because New Yorkers deserve to know the truth,\u201d Detectives\u2019 Endowment Association President Scott Munro said. \u201cThe CCRB has become a haven for anti-cop activists masquerading as investigators.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said radicals within the police watchdog agency \u2014 which is supposed to investigate civilian complaints against cops \u2014 have made it their mission to to \u201cgo after detectives, damage careers and make the job of protecting this city even harder.\u201d<\/p>\n
The six were among eight CCRB employees the Police Benevolent Association, the city\u2019s largest police union, targeted in a May 7 letter demanding their dismissal<\/a> over social media posts and college essays the union called \u201cblatant evidence of anti-police bias.\u201d<\/p>\n Some investigators posted \u201cA.C.A.B.\u201d \u2014 an anti-police acronym for \u201cAll Cops Are Bastards\u201d on social media, and others opined in essays about the complete elimination of police, according to the PBA.<\/p>\n
