His name was not immediately released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Both drivers remained at the scene and faced no immediate charges as cops continue to investigate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The death marks the second time in two days an out-of-control driver fatally struck a pedestrian on a Brooklyn sidewalk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Friday, a 79-year-old woman <a data-ylk=\"slk:was killed;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/07\/17\/suv-driver-kills-man-80-on-brooklyn-street-before-slamming-into-building\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was killed<\/a> when the driver of a Lexus crossover SUV pinned her against a building at E. 92nd St. and Rutland Road in East Flatbush and then dragged her body, cops and witnesses said.
