Penticton RCMP investigating Queens Park Elementary assault<\/p>\n

The Penticton RCMP is actively investigating an assault which sent two people to the hospital. <\/p>\n
On Sunday, July 19, the Penticton RCMP put out a release stating they responded to a report of an overnight assault on the grounds of Queens Park Elementary. The incident was reported shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, with two people, including one youth, being taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the incident. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe investigation is in its early stage; however, police believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to public safety,\u201d the Penticton RCMP stated. \u201cNo further details will be released at this time.\u201d <\/p>\n
