In H1 2026, more than 240 NYC startups raised a combined\u00a0$1.13 billion\u00a0in seed funding,\u00a0according to a recent Tech:NYC report<\/a>.\u00a0That’s\u00a0up\u00a0from\u00a0$1.06 billion\u00a0in H1 2025, with average seed rounds climbing from $5.4 million to $6.64 million.\u00a0Overall, New York startups raised a whopping\u00a0$16 billion<\/a>\u00a0in the first half this year \u2014 nearly matching the\u00a0$19.1\u00a0billion\u00a0that New York startups raised across all of 2025.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
