One of Hollywood\u2019s biggest talent agencies is moving to glitzier office digs in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

United Talent Agency announced a 101,000-square-foot lease at the Empire State Building, a space that will encompass the 32nd through 35th floors, the New York Post<\/a> reported. The asking rent at the crown jewel of Empire State Realty Trust\u2019s office portfolio was $96 per square foot.<\/p>\n

The space will include three consolidated offices spanning a total of 81,000 square feet, according to the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The length of the lease was not disclosed. JLL\u2019s Mitchell Konsker, Benjamin Bass and Harrison Potter represented the tenant in the deal, while ESRT was represented by a Newmark team including Scott Klau, Erik Harris and Neil Rubin, as well as in-house brokers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur move to one of New York City\u2019s most iconic landmarks is a reflection of UTA\u2019s continued growth and long-term commitment to New York as a global epicenter of culture, creativity and business,\u201d UTA chief operating officer Bob Roback said in a statement.<\/p>\n

On the West Coast, UTA \u2014 which counts Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Bad Bunny, Lizzo and LeBron James among its client roster \u2014 recently renewed<\/a> its lease for its 192,000-square-foot headquarters at UTA Plaza in Beverly Hills; UTA has operated out of the DivcoWest-owned building at 9336-9346 Civic Center Drive since 2011.<\/p>\n

The lease marks another coup for the Empire State Building as it nears full occupancy. The iconic property stood at 96.1 percent leased at the end of the first quarter, according to the company, with tenants including LinkedIn, Shutterstock, Booking Holdings and JCDecaux.<\/p>\n

In May 2024, fintech firm Pontera leased<\/a> 41,000 square feet at the iconic tower<\/a>. The asking rent was $79 per square foot.<\/p>\n

ESRT conducted a $550 million overhaul of the property\u2019s infrastructure in 2006, but concerns surfaced in recent years over the building\u2019s future, including the specter of an office-to-residential conversion.<\/p>\n
