A man is facing charges after a woman died following a visit to a holistic wellness center in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

Luis Rojas Cabrera, 55, was charged with reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of a profession.<\/p>\n

He was arrested after 27-year-old Elizabeth Baron died after visiting the Bereshit Lifestyle Center on Riverdale Avenue.<\/p>\n

Police say she went into medical distress while getting an anti-aging injection on Sunday.<\/p>\n

She was rushed in an ambulance to NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

A website for the facility lists 55-year-old Cabrera as its founder and lists specialties like hydrotherapy and nutrition.<\/p>\n

On the site, Cabrera claims to have performed more than 6,000 surgeries and completed his medical training in Santo Domingo.<\/p>\n

Officials say he is licensed in the Dominican Republic, but not in the United States.<\/p>\n

On Monday, those who knew Baron said they were shocked to learn of her sudden death and said she was sweet and generous.<\/p>\n

The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.<\/p>\n
