The Broadway production of the Tony-winning musical Hadestown<\/a> welcomes three new Fates to the company at the Walter Kerr Theatre beginning July 21:\u00a0Kelly Belarmino<\/a> (Pirates! The Penzance Musical<\/a>), KC Dela Cruz<\/a> (Hadestown national tour), and Khori Michelle Petinaud<\/a> (Just in Time<\/a>, Lempicka<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trio succeeds Jewelle Blackman<\/a>, Jessie Shelton<\/a>, and\u00a0Kay Trinidad<\/a>, who took their final bows July 19.<\/p>\n

The Broadway cast is currently led by Gary Dourdan<\/a> as Hades, Tony
\nwinner J. Harrison Ghee<\/a> as Hermes, John-Michael Lyles<\/a> as Orpheus, Gaby
\nMoreno as Persephone, and Jordan Tyson<\/a> as Eurydice with the chorus of
\nWorkers played by Malcolm Armwood<\/a>, Sojourner Brown<\/a>, Jeffrey Cornelius<\/a>,
\nSydney Parra<\/a>, and Alex Puette<\/a>. Swings Brandon Cameron, Tara Jackson<\/a>,
\nAlex Lugo<\/a>, and Max Kumangai complete the company.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Ana\u00efs Mitchell\u2019s folk- and jazz-infused musical
\nlayers the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice with that of Hades and
\nPersephone, intertwining the actions\u2014and consequences\u2014of gods and
\nmortals. Hadestown originally began as a theatrical concert performed by Mitchell.<\/p>\n

The creative team features Tony-winning set designer Rachel Hauck<\/a>,
\nTony-nominated costume designer Michael Krass<\/a>, Tony-winning lighting
\ndesigner Bradley King<\/a>, Tony-winning sound designers Nevin Steinberg<\/a> and
\nJessica Paz<\/a>, choreographer David Neumann<\/a>, and dramaturg Ken Cerniglia<\/a>.
\nMusical supervision and vocal arrangements are by Liam Robinson<\/a>, with
\narrangements and orchestrations by Tony winners Michael Chorney<\/a> and Todd
\n Sickafoose.<\/p>\n

The show, featuring a book and score by Mitchell, won eight 2019 Tony
\n Awards: Best Director of a Musical (Rachel Chavkin<\/a>), Best Featured
\nActor in a Musical (Andr\u00e9 De Shields<\/a>), Best Lighting Design of a Musical
\n (Bradley King), Best Scenic Design of a Musical (Rachel Hauck), Best
\nSound Design of a Musical (Jessica Paz and Nevin Steinberg), Best
\nOrchestrations (Michael Chorney and Todd Sickafoose<\/a>), Best Original
\nScore (Mitchell), and Best Musical.<\/p>\n

Hadestown\u202fis also currently in its third\u202fyear in the West
\nEnd (the musical returned to London six years after its 2018 engagement
\nat the National Theatre). The record-breaking North American tour
\ncompleted its coast-to-coast three-year run in 2024, and productions
\nopened across the globe in Sydney, Melbourne, and Amsterdam last
