New York City FC announced today that Goalkeeper\u00a0Greg Ranjitsingh\u00a0has signed a contract extension through the 2027-28 season with\u00a0an\u00a0option\u00a0for the 2028-29 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The\u00a0veteran\u00a0Goalkeeper\u00a0arrived\u00a0to\u00a0New York in January 2025, after having\u00a0made 19 appearances\u00a0across\u00a0MLS, MLS NEXT Pro and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup\u00a0with various\u00a0clubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cGreg brings valuable experience and leadership to our goalkeeping unit,\u201d said Sporting Director Todd Dunivant. \u201cHis impact in the locker room\u00a0is felt\u00a0on a daily basis, as he is a culture carrier for the team.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
On the\u00a0International stage, Ranjitsingh received a\u00a0senior call-up to the Trinidad and Tobago National Team in 2016 for\u00a0the\u00a0FIFA World Cup qualifiers and was later named to the country\u2019s final roster for the 2019\u00a0Concacaf\u00a0Gold Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n
