Photo supplied.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/app.w42st.com\/places\/6Y6izqF2PkZjQtFTPwneYW\/hk-community-cupboard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">volunteer-run food pantry<\/a> on 10th Avenue between W45th and 46th Streets is looking for people who can commit to regular food rescue shifts, collecting surplus groceries and baked goods from local businesses and helping distribute them to neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>Success! In addition to my role as Deputy Editor at W42ST, I am founder of the local non-profit cleanup group Litter Legion, co-chair of HK49-54 Block Alliance and a former member of Manhattan Community Board 4.
