King Charles and Queen Camilla learned about creative projects making a difference in the community during a royal visit to Dorset last week.<\/p>\n
Among the charities represented during the King and Queen’s visit to Dorset on Thursday, July 16, was Lighthouse Poole, who shared their community work at the recently renovated Grade I-Listed Corn Exchange in Blandford Forum.<\/p>\n
The visit included viewing the newly restored George II Royal Coat of Arms in the Town Hall, a plaque unveiling and a walkabout to greet members of the local community.<\/p>\n
Elspeth McBain, chief executive of Lighthouse Poole, said: “It was a privilege to meet with The King and Queen at the event.<\/p>\n
