Police are asking for the public\u2019s help locating the person seen in the attached media who they say is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old resident of Norwood in the Highbridge section of The Bronx in 2023.<\/p>\n

As reported<\/a>, police said that on Thursday, June 22, at around 9.03 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call regarding an aided male\/calls for help inside 1165 Shakespeare Avenue in Highbridge.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cUpon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male in a semi-conscious state within the fifth-floor hallway, with a sustained lactation under his chin,\u201d an NYPD spokesperson said. \u201cEMS responded to the location and transported the aided male to NYC Health & Hospitals\/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased on Sunday, June 25, 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed the manner of death as a homicide, and that the victim had sustained an apparent traumatic head injury. They said there were no arrests, and the investigation remained ongoing.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The deceased was identified as Jermaine Jones of Webster Avenue in Norwood.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n They the person sought was identified as Amir Dickson, 32.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
