Bremen House Inc. was the seller. The four-story building has 22 units covering nearly 22,500 square feet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfc6Residential: The most expensive recorded home sale was on the Upper West Side, where a sponsor unit at Naftali Group\u2019s The Henry at 211 West 84th Street sold for $14.8 million. RYA Holdings LLC was the buyer. The five-bed, five-and-a-half bath home measures nearly 5,000 square feet. Alexa Lambert, Alison Black and Shelton Smith with Compass had the listing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: Naftali Group sold another sponsor unit, at 255 East 77th Street on the Upper East Side, for $10.4 million to HJ77 LLC. The condo spans 3,300 square feet and has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The unit went on the market in October 2024 with an asking price of $10.2 million. Compass\u2019 Alexa Lambert, Alison Black and Shelton Smith had the listing.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: In Gramercy Park, the home at 143 East 19th Street changed hands for $8.8 million. Alan Boss and his wife, Helene Rottblatt, were the sellers and 143 E 19th LLC was the buyer. Standing three stories tall, the home is 4,100 square feet with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: Mario De Benedetti and Alessandra Dacco, founders of restaurant and florist boutique Il Florista, parted with a co-op at 52 West 9th Street in Greenwich Village for $7.2 million. The buyer was Shrimp Interests LLC. The unit, a triplex, occupies the top three floors of a 25-foot-townhouse and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a private terrace. The co-op\u2019s most recent asking price was $7.8 million. Sotheby\u2019s International Realty\u2019s Harry Nasser had the listing.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udccaResidential: Amy Falls, the chief investment officer of Northwestern University, and Hartley Rogers, executive co-chairman of private-markets asset manager Hamilton Lane, scooped up a co-op at 770 Park Avenue on the Upper East Side for $7 million. The seller was the estate of Marsha Von Mueffling Crawford. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom unit went on the market in February with an asking price of $7.8 million. Jill Roosevelt with Brown Harris Stevens represented the seller.<\/p>\n<p>By the Numbers: <a href=\"https:\/\/therealdeal.com\/data\/national\/2026\/southern-states-lead-in-yearly-average-mortgage-rate-drops\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">South posts greatest mortgage rate drop amid cooling housing market<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mortgage rates have climbed steadily for five months, but they\u2019re still below where they stood a year ago. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the South.<\/p>\n<p>On average, Southern states experienced a more than 2.2 percent decline in their average 30-year mortgage rate, according to a TRD Data analysis of 30-year mortgage rate data as of July 15, 2025 and July 16, 2026 from Investopedia.
